Musicie to zrozumieć. Te słowa są wyryte w sercu każdego Tybetańczyka. Dlatego jesteśmy narodem miłującym pokój, który z zasady odrzuca przemoc. Usilnie proszę, abyście zauważyli w tym naszą największą siłę, a nie słabość.
All beings tremble before danger and death. Life is dear to all. When a man considers this, he does not kill or cause to kill. You must understand. These words are deeply engraved in the heart of every Tibetan. It is why we are a peaceful people who reject violence on principle. I pray you will see this as our greatest strenght, not our weakness.
Through zeal, knowledge is gotten, through lack of zeal, knowledge is lost; let a man who knows this double path of gain and loss thus place himself in that knowledge may grow.Buddha
